Getting Started with Wishr
Create a wishlist, add your first wish, and share it with people you trust.
Start your first list
Use Wishr on iOS, Android, or the web.
After signing in, the optional onboarding question asks how you want to use Wishr. Quick Start helps you create your first list and then add a wish. You can finish your profile later.
Choose the list type for how you want to work:
- My Wishlist: you manage your own wishes.
- Group Gift List: members collaborate on the list.
- Creator Picks: only the owner edits the list.
List types control editing, not read privacy. Anyone with a list link can view it. Keep links out of public places if you do not want them widely shared.
Add a wish
Open a list you can edit and add a wish. Enter a title; expand Details for optional notes, price, links, and other fields. Review the wish before saving.
On iOS and Android, paste a public HTTPS product link or use Shop across stores. Wishr requests a public product preview; it does not send your browser cookies or signed-in page contents. Review the suggested fields before applying them. If a shop blocks extraction or the page is ambiguous, keep the link and fill in the details yourself. Web link entry remains manual.
Share and reserve
Share the list link with friends or family. A Group Gift List can also have collaborating members; viewing a link alone does not grant owner editing rights.
Gift-givers can reserve wishes to coordinate gifts. Reservations are shown to other gift-givers; recipient views hide them to preserve the surprise. This is a display convention, not a separate data-access guarantee.
